Pollokshields Mangoes print - different colours available (A3 or A4 size)
Every summer in Pollokshields, Glasgow, the shops sell delicious honey Mangoes. Some pop-up shops appear solely to sell boxes of this cherished golden fruit. It's a small window of time where everything is right with the world, feuding neighbours set aside their differences, lost cats return home, and fireworks go bang at socially acceptable volumes.
Local artist, Kieron Redmond, wanted to celebrate this with an illustration, that reflects some of the excitement felt by locals (really!).
This is a variation on the original print. This one has a white background and has a bit more texture
It is a Giclée print made using specialist archival pigment inks on museum grade 300gsm cotton rag paper for a deluxe feel, excellent depth of colour, longevity and stability.
Please note - the print is unframed but it works particularly well in regular, widely available A-size frames without the need for a mount.
