SUNSHINE NO.1

We are an independent art, gift and card shop in the southside of Glasgow. Absolutely all our products have been created by designers based in Scotland.

We were established in August 2015 by Suzi Nicol, a silversmith and art & craft lover. She wanted to bring to the high street the incredible range of quality work available from local artists and makers.

We started by showcasing around 20 designers. Since then, we are proud to have grown to have work available from over 100 Scottish creatives.

Our artists & makers are based all across Scotland, from Dumfries and Galloway in the south right up to the Shetland Isles in the north!

The majority of our featured designers are other small, one-person businesses, just like us!

Everyone in the Sunshine No.1 Team is also a creative person - we have 2 artists/illustrators, a sewer & knitter, a potter and another sewer! And, of course, Suzi, is a silversmith too. We are all passionate about the arts and the creative community, especially in Scotland.
