Ginger-Tailed Bru-Bird - fabulous new signed and mounted print featuring his mythical, magical and wondrous Scottish bird!
Ginger-Tailed Bru-Birds are indigenous to Glasgow where they can be spotted in early spring collecting the sweet orange nectar of the ‘Bru-Bell’.
They are the only bird species thought to possess a ‘feathered six pack’: a feature which helps them hover and navigate between plants for long periods of time.
In times of drought Bru Birds have been known to migrate to Glasgow's ginger-reservoir: Loch Laldie where they raid the city's ginger supplies.
Birdsong:
Male: ‘Taaaps’
Female: ‘Aaaaf’
These birds can be domesticated but can get a little gallus if placed near your drinks cabinet.
