The Cloisters at the University of Glasgow have been offering protection from the temperamental Scottish weather to students and staff, tourists, locals, and couples gettin' hitched for well over 100 years!

These days they also offer a top photo-snapping spot for all of the same, bustling with wedding guests, graduation attendees and bus tours and photographers of all abilities.

They've even participated in a few TV shows & films.

They're at their best when you get them in a quiet momment - cool, echoy and solid.  They're grand and beautiful and undoubtedly one of the most well-loved sights in Glasgow's West End.
