Kelvingrove Bandstand A5 print
1400
A5 print from local artist Julie of Turadh Design Co.
Kelvingrove Bandstand and Amphitheatre, in Glasgow's Westend, opened in 1924 playing free classical music concerts on Sunday afternoons.
It fell into disrepair in the 1990's, became a listed building in 2000 and finally reopened in 2014. It's one of just three which have amphitheatres left in Scotland. The annual Summer Nights sessions bring a mix of acts to its stage and it's an incredibly enjoyable place to listen to live music!
