Flag irises, or yellow irises can be seen around April/May along the wetlands and coasts around Scotland. I have seen many splendid examples of them all over my travels. The yellow is the most exquisite shade of yellow and speaks of the promise of warmer times ahead. This is a little mini print around 7 x 5 inches drawn, then carved and hand printed in my studio. It is a multi block print on Hosho Select Awagami printmaking paper.
