This sterling silver necklace has been handcrafted by southside of Glasgow based Suzi Nicol Designs using the sand casting technique.
This letter is a lovely, chunky weight and has some of the sand texture and pits left on the silver to show the origin of the making process.
Sand casting is an age-old technique that has been used for centuries. It involves using sand as the mould material, into which molten metal is poured.
