This linoprint from local artist and printmaker Collette Howie was inspired by her solo retreat to the Isle of Eigg.

‘Isle of Eigg rabbits and burrows at the beach’ is a limited edition of 6 lino prints.

Just around the corner from Collette's camping pod was a beautiful little bay and sandy beach with lots of burrows and bunnies everywhere.

If you sit still and long enough they come out in their droves bounding all over the grassy verges right next to the beach. They were quite content amongst the oyster catchers and sheep, watching the ferry come and go.

This edition is printed on Fabriano 50% cotton printmaking paper using black Caligo traditional printmaking ink. Each one is printed on the studio Gunning etching press.
